We can read and talk about the importance of dua all day long as do others but I want to pave a different path today. We see Imams in masjids near our homes making dua’s that have no end to them, eventually Muslims standing behind them get bored and stop saying Ameen.
This has effected our subconscious so much that we try to replicate what the Imam did and soon overwelmed by the lenght we leave it all together. Should dua be diffcult? Is the lenght only thing that matters? Let’s discuss this a little more.
Should Dua Be Difficult?
Have you seen Muslims saying Ameen after every dua in Arabic? Ofcourse not! That’s because a large population of Muslims do not know Arabic. Ameen for what? Should it memorised in way you don’t understand what you are asking for?
How To Make Your Dua Count
1. Dua is a communication between Allah and a person so the number one thing that makes a dua stand out is making it as personalas it could get. Let your tongue be silent and your emotions speak.
2. Quality over quantity, brothers, quality over quantity.
3. If you keep it short, you won’t risk losing motivation for asking Allah. Develop on to longer duas when you know 100% that you will be consistent.
Jabir ibn Abdullah reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “The best remembrance is to declare there is no God but Allah. The best supplication is to declare all praise is due to Allah.”
